Samsung Reality
In the cell phone industry, the new Samsung Reality is known as a midrange phone. While not quite a smartphone, the Reality still packs a powerful punch and has several awesome features. The 3-inch display screen might cause some squinting to read smaller print, but finer definitions can still be noticed with the screen’s 240×400 pixel resolution. The display is a resistive touchscreen.
This phone was designed with social networking in mind and certainly doesn’t disappoint. A preloaded widget provides easy access to seven social networking file sharing websites: Facebook, Flickr, Friendster, MySpace, PhotoBucket, Twitter, and YouTube. You’ll find a convenient row of shortcuts along each menu screen. Interestingly, you can use either the full QWERTY physical or virtual keyboard to type up text, voice, instant, and multimedia messages. Several email options ensure you have access to all your email accounts while you’re out and about. You can enjoy a fully functional HTML browser on Verizon’s 3G network, and the Reality’s functions make website navigation easy. A 1,000 contact phonebook lets you store standard information on each entry, but one nifty feature is that you can also store birthdates. The Reality also comes with a file viewer that allows you to read Microsoft Office documents.
With superb call quality and a long battery life, the Samsung Reality is an excellent mobile device. It has a user friendly interface and other features that add to the experience. If you’re searching for a cheap alternative to expensive smartphones, the Samsung Reality would be an excellent selection.
