Motorola has made a big step into the green push with the Moto W233 Renew. Motorola describes the phone as follows -
The Motorola MOTO W233 Renew is the industry’s cell phone made from plastics that contain recycled water bottles and is the first certified Carbonfree cell phone on the market.
Through an alliance with Carbonfund.org, we offset the energy to manufacture, distribute and operate the phone by investing in renewable energy sources and reforestation. In fact, 100% of the Motorola W233 Renew’s phone housing is recyclable.
Inside the box, you’ll find a prepaid envelope to return your old phone for recycling.
The only feature we found lacking was the missing Bluetooth. This should be a standard feature in the current market. There are a number of other Motorola W233 Renew Accessories available though including cases, chargers, and wired headsets.
